As Marketing Manager, Eastern Region, you will play a key role on Bullfrog’s commercial marketing team. With a focus on maintaining and growing our commercial customer base, you’ll work on developing and implementing marketing campaigns, employee engagement initiatives, and managing key commercial customer relationships.


  • Develop marketing strategies and implementation plans to acquire new commercial customers, retain existing commercial customers, and launch new products
  • Work with our graphics and content specialists to develop scalable marketing programs for small and medium-sized businesses
  • Work on marketing plans and customer-focused campaigns–this may include digital marketing, event planning and execution, collateral development, etc. and will sometimes mean leading a campaign, and other times contributing to campaigns led by other team members
  • Ensure metrics are built into all programs, report on results and make recommendations for future campaigns
  • Conduct market and customer research; analyze results to inform marketing strategy
  • Organize Bullfrog’s presence and represent Bullfrog at key tradeshows and other events–this may involve signage, booths, and speaking opportunities

Account Management

  • Work closely with the Sales team to develop B2B lead generation strategies
  • Assist Sales team in developing sales pitches that include compelling, creative marketing pitches to support Bullfrog’s products
  • Key commercial customer account management, including:
    • Ensuring retention strategies are in place for existing accounts, and a high level of engagement is maintained across our commercial customer base
    • Conducting check-in meetings and developing customized marketing initiatives and materials
    • Maintaining positive relationships with Bullfrog’s key customers, ensuring our brand and reputation is well represented in all interactions with both prospective and current customers


    • Degree or diploma in marketing, business and/or environmental studies
    • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or account management functions
    • Strong communications skills, including writing and presenting
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and a proven self-starter
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
    • A passion for environmental issues, the ability to identify with customers’ sustainability goals and an understanding of the Bullfrog Power value proposition
    • A valid driver’s license is required
    • The following experience would be an asset:
      • Experience creating campaign and account plans in sales and marketing
      • Digital marketing and social media (content creation, implementation, strategy, analytics); familiarity with digital marketing tools and/or design software
      • Sales experience, especially in pitching new products
      • Experience representing a previous employer at tradeshows and events
      • Knowledge of the energy industry
