Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Panel Builder to join our Hamilton team. Our Panel Builders are responsible for constructing, testing, and installing industrial, commercial and institutional control panels and systems. They will be responsible for pulling parts from inventory, wiring and troubleshooting and commissioning . Our Panel Builders promote a positive company image through service quality, professionalism, and a strong sense of urgency

Here’s what you will do as an Panel Builder at Spark Power:

  • Laying out panel back plates
  • Drilling and cutting holes for electrical devices
  • Mounting and wiring of electrical devices
  • Committing material on Work Orders
  • Communicating with supervisors for work instructions
  • Controlling inventory in/out of stock (for active jobs)
  • Keeping shop stocked with proper tools and materials
  • Performing field work/installations
  • Responsible for ensuring the work area is clean
  • Scanning or signing materials in/out of inventory
  • Delivering and picking up panels

  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Panel building experience 1-3 years is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Great attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Valid driver's license
