Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our Renewables team in our Apex, North Carolina Office. This role combines sales operations, cost estimation, and process improvement to drive growth and efficiency in our renewable energy initiatives. You will work closely with sales leaders and project managers to enhance sales processes, develop accurate cost estimates, and support strategic initiatives across division segments.

What will you do you as the Inside Sales Specialist?

  • Manage incoming leads and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring appropriate delegation to relevant team members
  • Research and maintain a comprehensive database of contacts and leads to support sales initiatives
  • Conduct strategic cold calls to prospects within defined target regions, scheduling and executing calls to generate interest and qualify leads
  • Collaborate with segment leaders to arrange initial meetings with prospects, following up to gather feedback and assess potential opportunities
  • Track and log all inbound and outbound leads, as well as sales opportunities, and estimates in NetSuite to maintain accurate records and monitor progress
  • Generate pipeline reports and provide analysis to enhance visibility into the sales process, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting and documentation
  • Continuously analyze sales data to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains, optimizing project budgets and timelines
  • Oversee and manage vendor platforms, such as ISNetworld, mygosupply, and WeBuy, to support business operations
  • Maintain up-to-date client status and documentation in NetSuite and SharePoint for easy access and reference
  • Assist in the execution of renewable energy strategies across division segments, contributing to overall business goals
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned and provide reports on pipeline and sales performance to support data-driven decision making

  • Preferred experience in business development, sales coordination, or similar role
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, SharePoint, and other relevant software platforms

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
